Cage Life Changes You
It’s true. Olive once lived in a cage, or pet store if you will. Is that why she acts so strange sometimes? Is that where the random biting comes from?
Pet Stores can be rough places. It’s every animal for himself in there. Meg and I have done everything we can to tame the beast that is Olive, but it’s a bit of an uphill battle at times.
Oh, the perils of owning a cat.
This has one if my all time favorite lines, “I once lived in a cage.” Helps me understand her just a little bit more. 🙂
The more I think about this one, the funnier it gets.
Ha, ha - thanks!
When John and I went to get Madison, she was in a “cage” with a little chihuahua. She kept standing up on her back legs and raising her front paws like a little grizzly bear. She was thumping the crap out of this little chihuahua. He was all curled up in the fetal position, trying to find his happy place.
I think it was at that precise moment that I knew Madison was perfect for our family. 🙂
Awesome as always, Matt!
Thanks, Traci!
