You Look Like a Skunk
Every now and then, Olive will be rounding a corner at an unsafe speed and crash into Hazel unexpectedly. It’s kind of funny because people do it sometimes too.
Whenever these little collisions happen, Olive’s tail seems to triple in size and look all poofy. Apparently, it’s pretty common among cats and happens when they’re startled. I think it’s hilarious when it happens to Olive because it makes her look like a skunk.
Of course Olive is a bit unfamiliar with skunks, so she might need some help from Google to get the joke.
It totally did that this morning when she crashed into the glass coffee table while trying to cut Hazel off on the way to the kitchen for a treat!
I heard that crash from upstairs! Ha ha! Loudest cat ever!
I triggered the puffy tail a couple of nights ago just by entering the room. Guess she wasn’t expecting it.
A cat of mine tried to look like a skunk using a freshly primed wall but she didn’t quite understand the whole idea that the strip goes on the back not the side.
Ha ha, nice! I bet that was there for a long time. I get nervous about Olive every time we paint, but surprisingly, there have been no incidents yet.
Is Olive’s puffy tail effect supposed to strike fear in an enemy’s heart? Cause the way you draw it makes me want to pet her cause she’s so adorable?
I think the puffy tail mean’s she’s pretty freaked out. If a cat ever puts their ears down and hisses, back away slowly because they will attack (or so I read online) 🙂
