For those not trained in the ways of the Force, the spooky squirrel in the background is dressed as Emperor Palpatine, the evil Sith lord who does a happy dance when young Jedi give into their hate and come to the dark side.
If you were hoping to see the rabbit get defeated and finally receive his comeuppance…I’m sorry, but this is not that ending. I guess some pests are just more persistent than others.
But fear not. I’ve actually gotten quite a few comments urging me to bring Black Olive into the conflict and I think that’s a great idea…
Anthropomorphic: the attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena. If couches happened to be anthropomorphic, I can’t help but believe that their lives would be pretty dreadful, just being sat on all day. Things would get even worse with cats in the house, as you then have to factor in all kinds of chin rubbing, jumping and scratching.
Whenever I read this strip, I imagine that the couch sounds just like
the Bill from School House Rock.
