One with the Shadows

Easter is just around the corner, and with it comes sightings of large, anthropomorphic bunnies – a sight many would consider to be horrifying. It gets scarier yet when you picture the creatures coming into your house at night, leaving gifts for your children.

Luckily, we have Olive the watchcat on our side. But is she a match for a being who is one with the shadows?

Hazel’s Story (3 of 3)

As you might have guessed, Hazel eventually ended up coming out from under the bed, and started liking us. In fact, she’s one of the nicest cats I’ve ever come into contact with.

Anywhere I go in the house, I have a constant shadow in Hazel. Sometimes she yells at me if she hasn’t had enough time on my lap, which can be a tad annoying some days, but I guess it’s nice to be needed all the time by a little furry creature.

And there you have it. The origin of both CAAATS! Don’t forget to stop by this Friday for a bonus page!

CAAATS! at C2E2!

Going to C2E2 this year? Like the CAAATS!? Well you’re in luck, because I’ll be at the show! We should totally hang out.

C2E2 is a massive convention, and I’m super excited about the opportunity to be there this year. I will have the first two print edtiions of CAAATS! on hand, along with my other book, The Troll and The Giant.

You will also be able to get print editions of Mystery Solved!, the webcomic of skepticism and adventure, written by Mr. Zack Kruse or snag yourself a copy of the much anticipated EOC Anthology, which features over 200 pages of stories by a large group of very talented writers and artists (my story features a Honey Badger).

And as always, I’ll be doing commissions and will have a bunch of prints available too.

So if you’re at the show, swing by BOOTH 692 in Webcomics Alley! I’ll be splitting the space with Jon Westhoff and Bobgar Ornelas of King Bone Press. Can’t wait!

Hazel’s Story (2 of 3)

So we got home with Hazel, and as I mentioned last week, it was slightly rough going at first. She was pretty freaked out by her new surroundings and would hide under our bed for hours at a time.

I tried different things like food and toys in an attempt to lure her out of her hiding place, but she just wasn’t having it. This actually went on for a few days and I was starting to wonder if the situation was going to work out at all.

So what happened next? Tune in next week for the conclusion of Hazel’s Story!

P.S. The angry Easter Bunny will also return next week, but to fit it in before Easter, I’ll be running it on Friday. So next week = two pages of CAAATS!
