I’m Just a Couch, Yes I’m Only a Couch
Anthropomorphic: the attribution of human motivation, characteristics, or behavior to inanimate objects, animals, or natural phenomena. If couches happened to be anthropomorphic, I can’t help but believe that their lives would be pretty dreadful, just being sat on all day. Things would get even worse with cats in the house, as you then have to factor in all kinds of chin rubbing, jumping and scratching.
Whenever I read this strip, I imagine that the couch sounds just like
the Bill from School House Rock.

I didn’t know it was anthropomorphic. I thought it was just trashed. Also, you forgot the hairball throw-up, and the general dog funk. Yeah… Remind me again why I have pets?

Ugh….I read the comic in The Bill’s voice. You forgot the dead rodents, frogs, etc., and the hair….all the hair. lol
Luckily they don’t go outside, so we get to skip all that fun stuff. 🙂
Oh no you don’t…lol We live in the country and you’d be surprised what kind of creatures can slip through between boards, or under sinks, etc. Dead mouse in the kitchen. Dead frog in the bathroom. So much fun.
