Kewl Tressure!
Cats sure love to run off with strange things. Rubber bands, bits of string, bugs. It seems like one of their favorite objects of all is that plastic seal that breaks off when you first open a jug of milk. Probably because of the way it tends to drop to the floor and go rolling.
A fun fact about the real Olive is that she tends to take this idea to the next level and is actually a bit of a kleptomaniac (one with an obsessive impulse to steal). Ever since we’ve had her in the house, tiny objects tend to come up missing or end up in a different place than where we left them. A favorite of hers is the tiny hair ties that belong to Georgia.
I guess it’s just another item on the list of quirks that come with cat ownership.

I had a pair of kittens once who at 5 months of age pried up the caps on the bolts holding the toilet on the floor. We found only one of the caps.
Ha ha! One of those things you wouldn’t appreciate until a kitten stole it.
I have one that hoards pipe cleaners. My sister had one that took the foil from our father’s cigarette boxes.
Strange little animals.
I bet certain humans hoard pipe cleaners. They’re so colorful! 😉

Remember when she took a tiny tin carousel horse from my cousin when he was staying in out guest room? We found it in your office. She also tends to steal Georgia’s dolls and move them…I think she is in attack mode with those though.
I do remember that! Easily the heaviest thing she ever stole. I’m wondering if her teeth hurt after that.
