That’s a Spicy Meatball!
Hazel has a problem. She wants people food all the time. I guess I can’t really blame her, eating nothing but cat food out of a bowl multiple times a day must get pretty boring. But it also means that you have to keep a close eye on your dinner, and even a plate left in the sink has a good chance of getting licked (ew).
We found this out a couple years ago when we were watching TV in the living room and heard Hazel yelp from the kitchen. Turns out she had climbed into the sink and taken a taste of spicy buffalo chicken soup, which I find really tasty, by the way.
To make matters worse, Hazel kept trying to eat the soup, despite the fact that is was scorching her mouth. What a glutton for punishment.
Do you have a recipe for the spicy buffalo chicken soup?
Ha! Here is the recipe. I make it all of the time. It’s awesome! You can make it on the stove too.

You’re gonna love it!
I remember this SO clearly. She still tries to do it as hard as we try to keep the sink clear. There was also that one time I make Kalua Pig in the crockpot and used Liquid Smoke…we had to give her a towel bath to get the stuff off of her. She kept trying to clean herself but it wasn’t coming off!
Yeah, that was a bit of a nightmare …
My son is like this with Thai food. He will steal some off my plate (which I order insanely hot), cry, beg for a drink, calm down, steal more….
Ha ha! Yeah, you have to be careful with Thai food. I love spicy things, but sometimes Thai just takes it a little too far.
Ahhh, my love/hate relationship with spicy food. I love it, and it loves to make me hate myself. sigh
My fur babies are like this, the cats seem smarter than the dog who once ate a gallon baggie of freshly home grown multiple heat chili peppers. Poor baby was in and out of the house all night. The poor thing loves them still. I know how he feels. As much as I love our local families home made tamalies (sp?) and burritos…..sigh….I try to stop at a bite or two.. I do try.
Ha ha, that is a LOT of chili peppers. I once made myself miserable trying a Red Thai chili pepper - never again.
Piquant and priceless!
Just the way we like it!
I always laugh bt the last 4 made me laugh each of the 6 times I have looked at them.
Ah! Sun!
ZZzzzzZZZzzz!
