Let’s Not Get Carried Away
It was one of those rare occasions in which Olive was minding her own business; just sitting in the bathroom, enjoying being alive and in a bathroom. Suddenly Hazel entered, took one look at Olive’s face and decided that it needed to be punched many times.
Olive’s reaction? Grab Hazel with her front paws and kick with her back paws, using every ounce of cat might available to her. Hazel sailed through midair for about half a second, smacked into the side of the bathtub like a small sack of potatoes and dropped to the floor. She looked down sheepishly as if slightly embarrassed and exited the room.
Yep, the comics still write themselves occasionally.

I thought little Hazel might get the upper hand for once,Olive decided that wasn’t going to happen.
Animals are so funny to observe, even when there is a minor fisticuffs.

Yeah, Hazel is pretty light and Olive is a bit of a brute, so there’s really no contest most of the time.
After the throw Olive should have shown up in her Randy Savage outfit and tried an Elbow Drop. (But having the strip be true to the actual events just with their voices is also awesome)
That would’ve just been overkill 😉
I have seen this happen between cats. The originally bothersome cat then walks away as if offended that the other one defended itself.
Sadly, it seems to be the same way with people…

Makes me wonder what our Matriarch Tia has done to get such obedience out of the others. She just grrrs low, bops them on the head, or just ignores them, and they leave her alone. If they jump up on something and she’s already there….they’ll relocate.
She’s got it made…she’s spoiled rotten and worshiped and feared. lol
She rules with an iron fist!
