It’s great watching babies grow up and learn all sorts of different skills, like eating, walking, talking and telling their Dad not to fart so loud (is he kidding?). But if there’s one thing our daughter still struggles with after a year’s time, it’s petting the cats.

It’s actually not petting so much as fur tugging/smacking. Olive has no tolerance for it and runs for the hills when she sees Georgia coming. Hazel, on the other hand, usually sticks it out because to her, getting smacked over the head is still attention and any attention is good attention.
