It’s amazing having a toddler in the house at Christmas. Why, you ask? Because you show them all the animated Christmas specials that you loved as a kid and they love them every bit as much as you did…and still do.
Last Christmas, Georgia became obsessed with The Snowman. It’s not as upbeat as Frosty, and actually has no dialogue, just music playing over a boy and a Snowman as they have a crazy night out. They also do lots of flying, which Georgia started to emulate by closing her eyes and waving her arms. Pretty stinkin’ cute.
Olive also does her own version of flying which isn’t nearly as graceful. It always ends with a loud “thud.”
I suppose most of us get a gift each year that we could take or leave. Fruitcake, piano key necktie, Jell-O mold. And most of us politely say “thanks” and then stuff the gift away in a closet for a few years, until it’s rediscovered one day just to be thrown out or donated. No harm done I suppose.
But I like to think there are some people out there who overreact in hilarious ways. Like just Francesco.
If you follow CAAATS! on Facebook or Twitter, you might have noticed that the comic became available on Comixology a while back. It was exciting news because it’s generally the place most (all) people go for digital comics and is proving (hopefully) to be a great way to reach new readers. The first three issues of the comic are available now with more on the way.
And there’s been some more exciting news recently as the first two issues have been uploaded to the Apple Store and are available for download as ebooks. So if Comixology isn’t really your thing, but you’d still like a way to have digital copies of the comic on the device of your choice, you now have another option available.
Like I’m always saying, I truly appreciate each and every person who takes the time each week to stop by the site to read the comic. If you’re interested at all in owning digital copies of the books, please swing by either Comixology or the Apple Store and give them a look. Reviews and ratings are appreciated too; I love to hear feedback! Unless you think it’s the worst comic you’ve ever read; please keep that info to yourself.
So that’s it. Bye!
